After operating as an online-only retail site, Massage-ChairRelief.com has opened its first brick and mortar retail showroom in Taylorsville.

The new showroom is located in a dedicated area of Weidner Chiropractic, 2232 W. 5400 S., owned by AM6 Distributing Inc. and operated by Dr. Alan Weidner, a licensed chiropractor who has practiced in the Taylorsville area for 15 years. "I love the massage chairs. In my practice I use them and I know what they do for people. Most people don't know what it's like to be in a massage chair," Weidner said. "We had the Web site up and people could go to it, but we didn't have any control over what chairs people tried, we didn't have any control over answering their questions, we didn't have any control over explaining what our policies are and what our services are. Now with our store it allows us to do that. We can cater to a more local market and we can have a little more control about what people experience on the chairs and we can answer more questions." shower room
"This is a pretty good range of chair models, as far as prices and features go," Weidner said. "Of course, we carry more models on the Web site, but working with these models for our general public will create a baseline for us to work from." bedroom furniture

""We don't want people to feel like they're being lured in to get chiropractic treatment. We invite everyone to come sit in the chairs. We don't charge for that and it's not part of the chiropractic business," Weidner said. "What people coming into the showroom like, though, is that there is a doctor here to answer any questions they might have. I have that clinical expertise to say which chair would be better for their conditions."

As an online retailer, 99 percent of sales at Massage-ChairRelief.com were from people who had gone online searching for a massage chair. The business has generated about $250,000 in gross sales annually.

In addition, a portion of allchair sales from the new store will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah. MassageChair-Relief will donate $25 to $50 for every chair sold through the new store with the goal of being able to sponsor two children per year and have their wishes granted. bedroom furniture
